The annual Awards have been going since 1996 and celebrate excellence in rural and regional reporting on issues affecting regional South Australia and Northern Territory across Journalism and Photography, and now Communicators and Social Media Influencers.

The Awards also recognise the work of communication specialists in the government and private sector.

The Awards' Major Sponsor - Rural Business Support - and a range of individual Award sponsors including RA&HS of SA, PIRSA, AgCommunicators, PodTalk, Doyle Media Service, SA Horticultural Services, Fuller, Calperum Station and the Show Society - provide cash and trophies valued at more than $7,500.

The winners will be presented at a special evening Awards function on Friday 8 December 2023 at the Adelaide Showground.
