Royal Adelaide Show Breakfast with Cathy McGowan AO
A jam-packed 2023 RMC SA/NT Royal Adelaide Show Breakfast saw the launch of the Rural Journalist and Photographer Awards, a Q&A with young journalist bursary winner Charlotte Varcoe and a keynote address from Cathy McGowan AO.

A great crowd braved the wet weather on the way in to hear some fascinating insights from Cathy McGowan AO from her time as the Federal Independent Member for Indi in northern Victoria, her time in agripolitics and in her current role as Chair of AgriFutures.
It was a busy morning as Rural Business Support CEO Brett Smith launched the 2023 RMC SA/NT Rural Journalist and Photography Awards.
The crowd also had the opportunity to hear from RMC SA/NT Young Rural/Regional Journalist professional development grant winner Charlotte Varcoe, from The Border Watch in Mt Gambier. As part of her grant, Charlotte is undertaking some work experience with ABC in Adelaide during show week.
