The annual awards have been going since 1996 and celebrate excellence in rural and regional reporting and photography on issues affecting regional South Australia and Northern Territory, as well as those working in communications and content creation.

The awards' Major Sponsor - Rural Business Support - and a range of individual Aaard sponsors provide cash and trophies valued at more than $7,500.

The winners will be presented at a special evening awards function on Friday 12 February 2027 at the Adelaide Showground.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday 17 January 2027 at 10pm.
