Roll up, roll up for our annual RMC SA/NT Show Breakfast.. and help celebrate 100 years of rural women's representation.
The South Australian Country Women's Association is the largest women's service organisation in the state, with more than 80 branches.
The cafe they run at the Royal Adelaide Show is much loved... but the CWA is about more than tea and scones.
Led by new President Rebecca Maund, it continues to evolve as an advocate for women living in rural and regional areas.
Rural Media Icon Liz Harfull has literally written the book on the CWA, revealing its astonishing foundation story in The Women Who Changed Country Australia.
Discover how this iconic movement came to South Australia in 1926, through the inspiring efforts of Mary Warnes from Koomooloo station, near Burra.
The first SACWA branches were officially established three years later.
Come along to hear Rebecca talk about the SACWA today and why it remains as relevant as ever.
