Rotary Student Journalist Prize (Nov 2013)

UniSA’s emerging journalists and communications students are being encouraged to write or produce news stories about Rotary District 9500 and District 9520 projects and have them published in the media to promote the work and projects of Rotary.

Funded by the two Rotary Districts for three years, this initiative will provide Prizes of $700 for each of the three media streams – Broadcast (TV/Radio); Press; and Online/Social Media.

This project is an ideal opportunity to enable career-focused students to pro-actively gain experience in researching, interviewing, writing and creating digital or social media pieces based on real life projects undertaken by Rotary Clubs.
