2013 Rural Journalist and Rural Photographer of the Year announced (Dec 2013)

The 2013 Telstra & Rural Business Support Rural Media Award winners have been announced.

ABC journalist Leah MacLennan, and The Advertiser photographer Mark Brake, have taken home the major prizes at the 2013 Telstra & Rural Business Support Rural Media Awards.

Leah MacLennan came through from the hotly contested and high standard television section to win her first major Rural Media South Australia (RMSA) journalism award.

Mark Brake secured his second major RMSA photography award, having previously won 10 years ago in 2003, and being highly commended on a regular basis since then.
