2018 SA & NT Rural Media Award successes (Dec 2018)

Kristy O'Brien from ABC Landline based in Darwin has taken out the top Rural Journalism award in the 2018 SA & NT Rural Media Awards. From a very large field of entries, Kristy was named the '2018 SA & NT Rural Journalist of the Year'. Advertiser photographer, Tait Schmaal took out the top Rural Photographer award, being named the '2018 SA & NT Rural Photographer of the Year'. This was the sixth occasion Tait had been named the top photographer in the Award's 23 year history.
